Jared and I got to have a date night tonight. We originally thought to use our gift card to Red Lobster, but about 2 minutes after discussing that our friends Dan and Courtney called and wanted to know what we were up to. We all decided to go out to eat together and the grandparents were going to watch the kids!
Turns out Reef got to eat at Red Lobster anyway, because it was cousin Taylor's birthday and the rest of the family was going to eat there!
WE had a nice meal at LaPaz, but felt like we were rushed out of there b/c there were many more waiting to eat! Then we had some yummy drinks at a bar (the name just flew out of my head and I can't catch it!) and were home by 10. Sometimes those nights are the best....you enjoy yourself and are still in bed by 11~
Reef was a good boy for grammy and grampy despite having one of the worst diaper rashes he had ever had! Poor baby. It was pretty much cleared up by the next morning...whoo who!

Glad you got to go out and have a NIGHT!! YAH! :) And glad Reefs rash went away-icky:( If he ever gets a nasty one again have I told you about our nurse friends suggestion?? It works everytime for my boys! Take that aquaphor barrier(its clear vaseline type stuff-not medicated-just a barrier cream. Then you mix a little cup of that barrier cream with a little maalox(antacid-the liquid kind)-its hard to mix-like oil and water-but it works awesome!! Just fyi if you ever need it:) It is one of my favorite "recipes" to pass on...maybe you have heard of it. take care! :)
